Click here to enlarge image and see more about item 15867: Hocking Mexican theme tumbler set

Click for more detail...

15867

Set of six flat clear glass tumblers with Southwestern / Mexican theme decal decoration, two each in three designs: man carrying ducks, woman with basket, and seated man in sombrero. Anchor Hocking in-mold mark on bottom.

The decals were factory applied and are in great condition (except for one) with slight age darkening. One of the sombrero man decals has slight damage as shown in picture.

Mexican theme dinnerware was very popular in the late 1930s. These tumblers will go well with patterns like HLC's Hacienda, Mexicana, or Conchita; TST's Mexican Fantasy; Knowles Tia Juana or Sleeping Mexican; WS George Mexi. The bright colors will also coordinate with solid color 1930s dinnerware like HLC's Fiesta or Harlequin, TST's Vistosa, or Paden City Pottery's Caliente line, and many others.
Circa: 1937-40
Condition: Very good
Size: 4 3/4" H
Color: Clear / Multi

Click here to enlarge image and see more about item 15941: Hocking Wrisley's hobnail milkglass cologne bottle

Click for more detail...

15941

Hobnail cologne bottle with stopper in white milkglass, made for the Wrisley company. The cork liner on the stopper has completely deteriorated and there is a small flat chip on the stopper flange; bottle in excellent condition. Reduced price.

There is much confusion over the maker of this bottle, many people mistakenly believe it is Fenton. Fenton Glass did make a cologne bottle like this for Wrisley in 1939, but only in white opalescent hobnail with a wood stopper. In 1940 Wrisley turned to Anchor Hocking for manufacture of this item with a glass stopper. Hocking made this bottle for at least 20 years, in several different colors, but always with a glass stopper. Definitely a Hocking piece with a molded number 6 on the bottom (Fenton pieces were never marked).
Circa: 1940-60
Condition: Good
Size: 6 1/4" H
Color: White
Type: Glass
Country of Origin: US
Manufacturer: Anchor Hocking / Wrisley

Click here to enlarge image and see more about item 15525: Fenton clear leaf console bowl

Click for more detail...

15525

Leaf-shape footed console bowl in clear glass. Most of these bowls were made in carnival colors, so this one is probably a test piece or a second. Bowl is undamaged, but has a slightly iridescent cloud on several areas of the underside. This imperfection is from exposure to chemical iridizing spray during cooling, not from hard water deposits.
Circa: 1920-40
Condition: Good
Size: 9 3/4" L x 8" W x 3" H
Color: Clear
Type: Glass
