Lead crystal mah jongg accessories, set of four, each etched with a different position sign (north, south, east, west). Although these are the size of individual ashtrays, we believe these might have been used for holding tiles. One piece has a sliver off one of the bottom corners, but otherwise these are in excellent condition, in original satin-lined case.

Lectures on Dr. Eliot's Five-Foot Shelf of Books, various authors, 10 issues. The Five-Foot Shelf of Books was the brainchild of Dr. Eliot, President of Harvard University. It is a 50 volume set which includes literary masterpieces and other works "covering the most significant achievements in all the main deparments of human endeavor." The Lectures were intended to guide the reader in his study of this "treasury of Knowledge," and were written by Harvard faculty. No. 121 plastic slide rule with fake leather sheath. Sheath has previous owner's name scratched into surface. Rule slides easily, is not warped, slight wear on ends (not on the black markings) and as tested, the math works the way I remember. Not as lovely as the German-made slide rules, but otherwise a decent American-made product.
