Mercer Pottery was founded in 1868 in Trenton NJ. This company primarily made ironstone, semi-vitreous and semi-porcelain toilet sets and dinnerware. In the 1920s they added chemists' supplies (such as mortars and pestles), and components for electrical fixtures to their products. Mercer went out of business sometime late in the 1930s.
