This oval milkglass lid features a three-dimensional bust of Admiral Dewey atop US flags on poles. The missing base depicts the USS Olympia, the Admiral's flagship at the battle of Manila during the Spanish-American War where he avenged the sinking of the 'Maine' (Remember the Maine!). This piece is in excellent condtion, with sharp detailing and no damage of any kind.
