Knowles - Deanna at Hyacinth House

Knowles introduced their Deanna line in the late 1930s and produced it into the 1950s. It is characterized by triple ring embossing on rims, handles & bases. Deanna dinnerware came in solid colors as well as white or ivory with decal decoration. Most Knowles dinnerware has a date code under their backstamp, where the first two numbers indicate the year of production. Pattern names did not appear on dishes until the late 1940s, but earlier wares usually have a pattern number on the bottom of the creamer.
