Although the Pfaltzgraff Pottery Co. traces their history back to 1805, they first started making dinnerware in 1940. For the first 120 years of business, their primary products were stoneware crocks & jugs. The company turned to kitchenware and florist ware in the 1940s and introduced their popular stoneware dinnerware lines in the 1970s.
