Smith Phillips at Hyacinth House

The Smith-Phillips China Co. was formed in 1901, in East Liverpool OH. In the beginning, the company produced a line of dinnerware called American Girl, as well as toilet wares. In the 1920s, the company quit making toilet wares and added two new dinnerware lines, Dolly Madison & Princess. Smith-Phillips went out of business in 1931, a victim of the Great Depression.
